Ballet classes for beginners

This class is for you, if you are interested in ballet, but have had no or very few ballet classes in the past.

It is suitable for people of any age and level of fitness and is a sound and careful introduction into ballet technique. While it will be more beneficial for you to attend this class regularly, you are not required to do so and can drop in whenever you are able to.

General / Intermediate ballet class

This class is for you if you have several years’ worth of ballet training and have a strong ballet technique.

Each class consists of barre and centre work. The barre exercises, while warming up the body, help you improve posture and develop strength and mobility. The centre work builds on the exercises done at the barre and it takes you from more simple steps onto challenging ones including travelling combinations and leaps. This class is with live piano accompaniment and is a fast paced class.

Intermediate / Advanced ballet class

This class is for you, if you have several years’ worth of ballet training and have a strong ballet technique.

Each class consists of barre and centre work. The barre exercises, while warming up the body, help you improve posture and develop strength and mobility.

Pointe General

This class is perfect for dancers with prior ballet experience who have been on pointe before and seek to further their pointe technique and artistry.

Designed to ensure safe and enjoyable pointe work, the class focuses on mastering technique to prevent injuries while enhancing your strength and confidence.

Through carefully structured exercises and engaging combinations, you will refine your pointe technique, build strength, and explore artistic expression. Whether you're looking to elevate your skills or further enjoy the beauty of ballet, this class offers a supportive and inspiring environment.

Posture Power

Do you want to limit your injury risk, while also building strength to become a better dancer?

This fitness class will help you substantially improve your posture and correct any issues relating to your body alignment. It is very easy to create bad habits in ballet, so changing these habits often requires retraining muscle memory. My Posture Power with PBT elements class will not only help you build up more strength and flexibility, but will also help you train the muscle memory required for automatically performing movements the right way. This class will be accompanied by music.

Posture Power with PBT elements is a general level class and therefore suitable for those, who either wish to improve their ballet technique or simply improve their fitness level.
